ShipTea Verdict

Wonder of the Seas held the "world's largest" title until Icon showed up, and honestly? It might be the better ship for it. A CDC score of 98 shows the crew knows what they're doing, and the ship has had time to work out the kinks that plague brand-new vessels.

The eight distinct neighborhoods work surprisingly well at managing crowd flow, something the slightly-larger Icon still struggles with. Central Park with its live trees and open-air dining is still one of the most creative spaces at sea.

**Who it's for:** Royal Caribbean fans who want the mega-ship experience without the newest-ship premium pricing. Families and multi-generational groups.

**Who should skip it:** Solo travelers. Anyone bothered by the ship dwarfing every port it visits.
