Harmony of the Seas Feb 2, 2027: 4-Night Prep Guide

Harmony of the Seas leaves Port Canaveral on Tuesday, February 2, 2027, for four nights. She’s fresh from a 2026 refit that rewrote her restaurant list, and yes, the drama is real (more on that below). Our database has no port list for this sailing yet, so everything about where she goes is marked “expected” until you can see the day-by-day in your booking. Consider it a dramatic pause.

Start Here

  • Now: Check that the names on your passport or birth certificate, photo ID and booking all match exactly. Nothing ruins a vacation like a nickname.
  • Now: Open the Cruise Planner (available once your deposit is paid) and look at specialty dining. A Royal Caribbean Blog post about Star of the Seas says popular venues fill up and the best times go early. Nothing Harmony-specific is confirmed, but early is the safer bet.
  • Saturday, December 19, 2026: Online check-in is expected to open, 45 days out and at midnight Port Canaveral time. Pick your arrival slot fast, because slots are first come, first served.
  • Before you travel: Lock in your hotel, parking or airport transfer. One hotel shuttle needs reserving at least 48 hours ahead.
  • Late January: Confirm your terminal, ports and arrival slot in the Royal Caribbean app.
Parking and tips on a 4-night Harmony sailing. Port Canaveral parking, per vehicle: $20.00 plus tax; Parking, Feb 2 to Feb 6 (5 days): $100 plus tax; Gratuity, standard room: $18.50; Gratuity, suite: $21.00; Four-night gratuity, standard / suite: $74.00 / $84.00; Wine you can bring: 1 bottle.
The short version, in one picture. Save it to Pinterest for later.

What to Do Now and the Deadlines That Bite

Circle December 19, 2026 in red, because that’s when check-in is expected to open. It’s 45 days before sailing, and the arrival slots are what you’ll be fighting over. Yes, fighting. Politely, from your couch.

The 45-day figure comes from published guidance, and the date is our own arithmetic from it. Your app will show the real date, and the app always wins the argument.

Embarkation Logistics

Pick an arrival window during check-in, then show up in it, not three hours before it like an eager golden retriever. Slots run in half-hour blocks, usually late morning to early afternoon, and the exact options appear once check-in opens.

  • The window is an arrival time, not a boarding time. Arriving early won’t get you aboard sooner.
  • Reported guidance is to arrive no more than about 30 minutes before your slot, and late arrivals may be moved to a later group.
  • Have ID or passport, a security photo, a payment method for onboard charges and your Crown & Anchor number ready.
  • Suite guests may arrive one hour before or after their check-in time.
  • Royal Caribbean’s FAQ says to finish check-in in the app at least 3 days before sailing. Anything left undone must be completed at the pier at least 2 hours before the published sailing time, and everyone must be checked in and aboard at least 90 minutes before port operations close. Check the exact wording in your booking.

Harmony appears to use Cruise Terminal 1, based on the port’s 2026 schedule. Her terminal for February 2027 isn’t confirmed, so treat Terminal 1 as “expected” and let your app have the final word. She’s homeported year-round at Port Canaveral, so this is her regular patch.

Parking

Port parking is $20.00 per day plus tax, per vehicle, and it counts both your arrival and departure days, so the math is sneakier than “four nights.” A 4-night cruise from February 2 to February 6 touches 5 calendar days, so that’s 5 × $20 = $100 plus tax.

  • Payment is due on arrival, by major credit card only (no cash).
  • The rate rose from $17 on October 1, 2025, and is subject to change without notice.
  • A new garage is under construction, and its pricing hasn’t been announced. Check the port’s site before you go.

The Night Before

Plenty of hotels will bundle a port shuttle with parking, but price every one directly before you fall in love. The details below come from roundups, and February nightly rates aren’t published there.

  • Country Inn & Suites Port Canaveral: free parking for cruisers up to 8 days; reserve the shuttle at least 48 hours ahead.
  • Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites: free port shuttle and parking under its Stay and Cruise program.
  • Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach: has a cruise shuttle but no cruise parking.
  • Quality Inn Kennedy Space Center (Titusville): Stay and Cruise package with free parking and a port shuttle.
  • Go Port Snooze Park packages: arrive after the last shuttle leaves and the lot is closed, so mind the clock.

Orlando Airport to the Port

This is where per-person and per-vehicle prices get tangled up, so read the “Basis” column like it owes you money. These figures are from shuttle companies and blogs, none clearly dated 2026, so take a live quote.

OptionReported priceBasis
Go Port shared shuttle$29.99 one way, $59.98 round tripPer person
Airport Canaveral shared shuttle$25 one way, $50 round tripPer person
Cruise line shuttleAbout $36 to $39Per person
Private transfer (single report)$64.90 one way, including tolls and airport feesOne traveler’s flat fee for a vehicle, not a published rate
UberX / UberXLAbout $60–$68 / $84–$90, before surgePer vehicle
TaxiAbout $130 one way (one source)Per vehicle

Group math: four people on the Go Port shared shuttle is 4 × $29.99 = $119.96 one way. The $64.90 private transfer was one traveler’s flat fee for a vehicle, so get a real quote for your group before comparing it with that total. As for Uber, one report saw return fares as high as $300 for an XL, so don’t assume the table is the ceiling.

The Ship and How to Work It

Harmony’s 2026 refit changed what’s onboard, so toss any guide that predates May 2026 into the sea. She went into drydock at Navantia’s Cádiz yard around April 3, 2026, and returned to service on May 21, 2026. Reports differ on the refit’s length and on exactly how many cabins were added, so we’re not printing either number.

Dining: What Changed

Brace yourself, because some old favorites have left the building.

Gone or movedNow (as reported)
Mini BitesEl Loco Fresh, complimentary casual Mexican-style food on Deck 15
Jamie’s Italian and VintagesGiovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar in Central Park
SaborPlaymakers Sports Bar & Arcade on the Boardwalk (food à la carte)
Bionic BarPesky Parrot, a tiki bar with human bartenders
Solarium Bistro at dinnerSamba Grill, a Brazilian steakhouse at extra cost
WonderlandRemoved and replaced with cabins
Vitality CaféRemoved (juices may be sold at a small pop-up in the On Air Club)

Still aboard, per post-refit reports: Chops Grille, Izumi, Sorrento’s, 150 Central Park, Johnny Rockets and Café Promenade. Coastal Kitchen is for eligible suite guests. Lime & Coconut pool bars are new. Main Dining Room names and the dining-time system aren’t confirmed, so check the Cruise Planner.

Adults, Kids and Everyone Else

The kids’ and teens’ spaces survived the refit, but check age bands before you promise your nine-year-old anything. Adventure Ocean is still aboard, with a new extra-cost escape room (Escape V: Science Lab) on Deck 14, and Social100 is the updated teen area for ages 13 to 17. Reports on the younger age bands conflict, so confirm them on Royal Caribbean’s site.

  • The adults-only Solarium reportedly got new furnishings and an extra sun deck. Its age limit isn’t confirmed, so check before printing “16+” in your group chat.
  • Casino Royale is reported as non-smoking and the largest casino in the fleet. The Attic comedy club was removed to make room, so the jokes are on the casino now.
  • Crown Lounge moved from Deck 4 to Deck 15.
  • Splashaway Bay, the Perfect Storm waterslides and the Ultimate Abyss dry slide are reported unchanged, as are the Boardwalk and carousel.

Shows

The Royal Theater headliner is the original production Voices, and Grease has taken its final bow. AquaTheater, Studio B and the ice rink are reported still aboard. The lineup for your specific sailing isn’t confirmed, so use the app once you’re onboard. Want the full spec sheet? Our Harmony of the Seas page has it.

The Ports

Expect Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, but nobody can promise either for February 2 yet, and our database certainly won’t. Listings generally put CocoCay on Wednesday, February 3, Nassau on Thursday, February 4, and a sea day on Friday, February 5. Some listings put the sea day first, and the CocoCay/Nassau order flips on certain dates (the March 2 sailing reverses it). Don’t book anything day-specific until the day-by-day appears in your booking, and see our Harmony itineraries page for updates.

Comparable sailings show CocoCay about 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Nassau about 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Exact arrival and all-aboard times for February 2 aren’t confirmed, so check the app before you plan your day. Third-party timetables list a 4:00 PM departure and a return around 6:00 AM, so confirm both there too.

Nassau

The ship docks at Prince George Wharf, and the downtown highlights are a 5 to 15 minute walk, so your feet are the best deal in town. Bay Street, Rawson Square and Parliament Square are on foot. Junkanoo Beach is about 10 to 15 minutes.

Getting aroundReported costCatch
Taxi to Paradise IslandAbout $4 per person plus 15% tipUnmetered, so agree the fare first
Taxi to Cable BeachAbout $15Same
Water taxi to Paradise Island$4 each way ($8 round trip), or $6 each way in one early-2025 guidePrices vary by source
Walk to Paradise IslandNo fareRoughly 20 minutes over the bridge
JitneyAbout $1.25Doesn’t cross the Paradise Island bridge

Those prices come from 2023–2025 sources, so treat them as a guide for 2027. A day pass to Atlantis is required for non-guests and must be bought in advance. Check-in runs 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Atlantis lists no price because it varies by date and season. One third-party listing shows $150–$200 for an Aquaventure day pass, which isn’t confirmed, so check Atlantis before budgeting.

The State Department lists The Bahamas at Level 2 (Exercise Increased Caution) for crime, dated July 28, 2026, with most crime in Nassau and Freeport. Earlier advisories singled out jet ski operators, so skip the jet skis. A local FAQ names pickpocketing and ATM card skimming as the main downtown worries, so keep to the tourist corridor and skip the ATMs.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

CocoCay is cashless, and everything runs through your ship account, so your wallet gets the day off. Oasis Lagoon, Chill Island and Breezy Bay (with sports courts and games) are included. So are Chill Grill, Skipper’s Grill, water and basic beverages.

  • Coco Beach Club and Hideaway Beach cost extra and can sell out, so book ahead.
  • Ship drink packages work at every bar on the island, swim-up bars included.
  • Prices for Thrill Waterpark, Up Up and Away, Hideaway Beach and Coco Beach Club aren’t confirmed, so check the Cruise Planner.

Conditions and Packing for Early February

February sits outside the official Atlantic hurricane season, which runs June 1 to November 30, so the villain here is a cold front, not a cyclone. The National Hurricane Center notes that activity “sometimes occurs before and after these dates,” and it gives no February figures, so there’s no number to put on the off-season risk. Check the NWS marine forecast and Royal Caribbean notices close to sailing, because there’s no solid published data on sea state or seasickness for this route.

PlaceFeb. highFeb. lowNote
Port Canaveral72°F (22°C)54°F (12°C)About 65% sunny days, 25% chance of a rainy day
CocoCay74°F (23°C)64°F (18°C)Monthly average 69°F
NassauAbout 77°F (25°C)About 63–68°FRough figures
Sea near CocoCayAverage about 24°C (75°F); range 21–27°C

The Port Canaveral numbers come from a commercial weather site, and the Nassau ones from weaker sources, so expect some drift. Evenings in the Bahamas run about 63°F (17°C), and a February cold front can make a sunny forecast feel rude.

  • Swimwear and sun protection (the sun is strong even in winter).
  • Light layers plus a sweater or light jacket for the deck at night.
  • Long trousers for evenings.
  • Heavy winter coats can stay in the car if you’re driving to port.
  • Water around 75°F is swimmable but cooler than summer, so a partial wet suit is a suggestion for long snorkelers or anyone who feels the cold.

Demand for the Bahamas peaks from December to early April, with spring-break crowds arriving mid-February. A February 2 departure lands just ahead of that rush.

Money

Gratuities are not in your fare: $18.50 per person per day in standard rooms and $21.00 in suites, so budget for them before the bill gets a vote. Royal Caribbean Blog reported on October 21, 2026, that a spokesperson said gratuity rates haven’t changed. One tipping guide lists suites at $21.50, so confirm your own figure in the Cruise Planner. Our tipping guide covers who gets what.

Room typePer person, per day4 nights, per personCouple
Standard$18.50$74.00$148.00
Suite$21.00$84.00$168.00

That assumes four charged nights, and whether embarkation day counts isn’t confirmed. Drinks and minibar items carry an 18% gratuity, and spa and salon services carry 20%.

Drinks, Wi-Fi and Specialty Dining

Every number here is a reported figure, not a Harmony price for February 2, so hold them loosely. The Cruise Planner is the only firm source.

  • Deluxe Beverage Package: about $55–$120 per person per day fleet-wide, with a median near $84. Treat gratuity as extra unless the Cruise Planner says otherwise.
  • Refreshment package: about $29–$42 per day. Classic Soda is about $13–$18 per day.
  • Harmony Surf + Stream Wi-Fi: $38.70 per day onboard. A Cruise Planner sale dropped it to $29.02 per day, a saving of $9.68 per day (not a price). The sale date is unclear.
Venue (reported)Price
Chops GrilleAbout $55–$65 per person cover
Giovanni’s Italian KitchenDinner $55, lunch $25, kids $15
Izumi hibachi$64.99 per adult, $54.99 per child
Izumi sushi menu$39.99 per adult

A drink package is unlikely to pay off on four nights unless you drink heavily, but without the package price for this sailing that’s a hunch, not a calculation. Prepaying gratuities, dining and Wi-Fi early is the main way to save.

Bringing Your Own

Each drinking-age guest may bring one sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne, on embarkation day only, so choose your bottle like it’s the last lifeboat seat. Beer, spirits and boxed wine aren’t allowed. Extra bottles and anything bought in port are held and returned on the last day. A reported corkage fee of $15 per bottle applies if you open one outside your cabin, with none in your stateroom (unverified officially).

Non-alcoholic drinks are capped at 12 cans or bottles (17 oz or smaller) per room, so that’s per cabin, not per person. Details are in our alcohol policy guide.

Documents

This is a closed-loop sailing (Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and back), which is why US citizens can often sail without a passport. Often is not always, darling. Royal Caribbean’s Travel Documents Hub has the final word, so treat this section as the friendly overview.

  • US citizens: Generally a government photo ID plus an original or certified, state-issued birth certificate. Photocopies, hospital “baby feet” certificates and baptismal papers aren’t accepted.
  • Passport anyway: Strongly advised, because a missed ship or emergency disembarkation in a foreign port gets messy without one.
  • Non-citizens: A valid passport is required, reportedly valid six months beyond the cruise, plus any visa for your nationality. Green card holders need their I-551.
  • Minors with a non-parent adult: An original, notarized consent form from the parent or guardian is required, and boarding can be refused without it.
  • Under-16 rule: The exact age cutoff varies by source, so verify the age with Royal Caribbean.
  • Prescriptions: Check Royal Caribbean’s current guidance on its site, and as general practice keep medication in original labelled containers. Royal Caribbean reportedly prohibits marijuana (medical included) and CBD products.
  • Bahamas charges: Bahamas Customs lists per-passenger charges, including a $5.00 tourism sustainability levy. How they apply to this sailing isn’t confirmed, so check the taxes-and-fees breakdown in your booking.

FAQ: Harmony of the Seas, February 2, 2027

Which ports does Harmony of the Seas visit on February 2, 2027?

Our database has no ports for this sailing. Listings point to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau and one sea day, with Port Canaveral at both ends. The order varies by date, so confirm the day-by-day in your Royal Caribbean booking before making plans.

When does online check-in open for a February 2 cruise?

Royal Caribbean check-in is reported to open 45 days before sailing, which works out to December 19, 2026. For US departures it opens at midnight in the departure port’s time zone. Your app shows the confirmed date.

How much is parking at Port Canaveral for a 4-night cruise?

The port charges $20.00 per day plus tax, per vehicle, counting arrival and departure days. February 2 to 6 spans five days, so $100 plus tax. Payment is by credit card on arrival, and the rate can change without notice.

Can I cruise to the Bahamas without a passport?

US citizens on a closed-loop cruise can generally sail with a government photo ID and an original or certified birth certificate. A passport is still strongly advised. Check Royal Caribbean’s Travel Documents Hub before you rely on that.

How much are cruise gratuities on a 4-night sailing?

Standard rooms are $18.50 per person per day, so $74.00 per person for four nights ($148.00 for two). Suites are $21.00 per person per day, so $84.00 per person. Confirm whether embarkation day is charged.

Is Wonderland still on Harmony of the Seas?

No. Wonderland was removed during the 2026 refit and replaced with cabins. Older guides still list it, as they do Sabor, Mini Bites, Bionic Bar and Jamie’s Italian. Giovanni’s, El Loco Fresh, Playmakers and Pesky Parrot took over.

Can I bring wine on board?

Yes: one sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne per drinking-age guest, on embarkation day only. Beer and spirits aren’t allowed. Opening a bottle outside your cabin reportedly costs $15 corkage.

The Bottom Line

Set a reminder for December 19, 2026, price out your dining early, and treat any itinerary detail you haven’t seen in your booking as a maybe. Harmony is a refitted ship doing a short Bahamas hop in peak season, just ahead of the spring-break rush, so the sensible plan is simple. Get a good arrival slot, pack a layer for the deck, and leave room in the budget for the $74.00 to $84.00 per person gratuity line. Her CDC score is 98 out of 100 as of the August 25, 2026 inspection, so the paperwork is the part to sweat, not the buffet.
