First, the storm question, because it's the one everyone's actually worried about. Atlantic hurricane season runs through November 30, so every sailing in this window is technically inside it. NOAA's 2026 seasonal outlook leans quiet — a 55% chance of a below-normal season, with 8-14 named storms and 1-3 major hurricanes forecast overall — but "below-normal for the Atlantic" doesn't mean nothing happens in the Bahamas in any given week. Port-side, the weather itself is genuinely pleasant. The real seasonal quirk here is pricing, not weather: late September through mid-November is shoulder season for Florida-departure cruises, sitting after the summer family rush and before Thanksgiving week crowds pack the ship. That's usually where the fare deals live. Just don't count on it lasting — the November 14 sailing returns right at the edge of the Thanksgiving travel crunch, so book early if that's your target week.
