Disney Wish Itinerary
About Disney Wish’s Schedule
Disney Wish is a 144,000-gross-ton Triton-class ship launched in 2022 sailing for Disney. She carries roughly 4,000 guests with about 1,555 crew looking after them. Her most recent CDC sanitation inspection scored 99 out of 100.
We are currently tracking 48 scheduled sailings for this ship, departing between November 2026 and April 2027. Most of those voyages leave from Port Canaveral. Sailings run from 3 to 4 nights, with 4 nights the most typical length.
Port-by-port breakdowns are published for 24 of these 48 sailings so far, and we add more as each itinerary is confirmed.

What Disney Wish's Autumn Bahamas Season Is Actually Like
Autumn on the Disney Wish means short, sweaty-then-pleasant hops out of Port Canaveral, hurricane season still lingering at the party like a guest who won't read the room, and a theme change midway through. The ship runs 3- and 4-night Bahamian sailings. Every one of them leaves at 3:00 p.m. and returns at 7:30 a.m.
Which sailing is which
| Sailing | Departs | Typical route |
|---|---|---|
| 3 nights | Fridays, Oct 16 to Nov 27 | Nassau (about 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday), then Castaway Cay (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday), home Monday |
| 4 nights | Mondays, Oct 12 to Nov 23 | Two versions: Nassau, Castaway Cay and a sea day, or a "double dip" of Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, then a sea day |
Our own database has no port list for the 3-night sailings. Disney Parks Blog's Wish itinerary page lists Nassau and Castaway Cay for them. The same page shows the 4-night double-dip on the Oct 12 and 26 and Nov 9 and 23 departures. It shows the Nassau version on Oct 19 and Nov 16, and The Mouse for Less lists Nov 2 as a Nassau version too. Schedules get tweaked, so check your exact date on Disney's booking site before you pick your port-day outfit.
Weather and sea conditions
October is the hot, damp end of the season. Nassau's 1991–2020 averages show a daily high around 87°F, a low around 74.5°F and roughly 5.9 inches of rain for the month. In practice that means short, dramatic downpours. By November it eases to about 83°F and 70°F, with around 3.4 inches of rain. Sea temperatures follow suit, from about 82°F in October to about 79°F in November, according to the climate tables on Wikipedia's Nassau page and Weather2Travel. That is still swimmable, if less bathtub-like by late November. Treat all of these as rough guides rather than a promise.
Hurricane season officially runs through November 30. The National Hurricane Center puts the peak at September 10, but its averages still reach the 13th named storm around October 25. A Bahamas cruise in October is not a coin flip with doom, but itineraries can be changed for weather. Book flights with a cushion, and arrive in Florida the day before.
What the ports are worth
- Castaway Cay: The reason most people book. Beaches, snorkelling and a shoreline made for lounging. You can only visit it as a Disney guest.
- Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point: Disney's newer island. It is on only some 4-night departures, so check which version you're booking.
- Nassau: Your ship docks at Prince George Wharf, so there's no tender. According to the Disney Cruise Line Blog's Nassau guide, Bay Street is about a 2-minute walk from the pier, and Junkanoo Beach (free, and the closest beach) is roughly 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The Straw Market sits next to the port. Bargaining is expected, so bring cash. A water taxi to Paradise Island runs about $6 round trip, and the guide advises being back aboard at least 30 minutes before all-aboard. If you'd rather book through Disney, its Nassau port adventures list includes the Discover Nassau Harbor Cruise ($69 for ages 10 and up), the Explore Nassau Sightseeing and Beach Tour ($69 for ages 10 and up, $49 for ages 3 to 9) and the Atlantis Family Beach Day at The Edge ($74 for ages 10 and up, $59 for ages 4 to 9, free for ages 0 to 3). Prices are per guest and can change, so check Disney's site before you book.
Who should book what
The 3-night is the "is Disney cruising for us?" test drive: two port days, almost no downtime. The 4-night adds a sea day, which is where the ship itself gets to shine. That day matters most if you want to see the ship rather than the beach.
Seasonal quirks
Disney lists Halloween on the High Seas for select sailings across September and October, with Wish among the participating ships. Expect costumes, trick-or-treating and villain meet-and-greets. On Disney Parks Blog's Wish itinerary page, every October sailing in this window carries the Halloween tag: the 4-night departures on Oct 12, 19 and 26, and the 3-night departures on Oct 16, 23 and 30. The Oct 30 sailing puts you in Nassau on Halloween itself, Saturday, Oct 31. Very Merrytime holiday sailings take over from there: the 4-night departures on Nov 9, 16 and 23, and the 3-night departures on Nov 13, 20 and 27. That leaves the 4-night Nov 2 and 3-night Nov 6 sailings as the only ones in this window without a theme. Itineraries and themes are subject to change, so confirm your date with Disney.
What to pack
- Light, quick-dry clothes, because the humidity is a lot in October.
- A packable rain jacket, plus reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes for the island days.
- A light layer for air-conditioned dining rooms and breezy evenings, especially in late November.
- Costumes for Halloween sailings, or something festive for Very Merrytime.
Cleanliness, if you're wondering: the ship's latest CDC Vessel Sanitation Program score is 99 out of 100, from the March 9, 2026 inspection. You can check the details with our CDC inspection lookup.
