That kind of scale means fewer galleys, fewer crew members handling food, and fewer chances for something to go sideways during an inspection. The Food Safety Grade reads "Spotless Galley," and while one inspection is a small sample size to build a reputation on, a 100 is a 100 — there's no partial credit system that makes that number more impressive with repetition.

Who it's for: travelers who want ultra-luxury, all-inclusive small-ship cruising and appreciate that their dining room has, at least once, been given a perfect bill of health by federal inspectors. Who should skip it: anyone hunting for drama, bargain fares, or a long inspection history to obsess over — with only one CDC visit on record, there simply isn't enough of a paper trail yet to know if this is a pattern or a lucky day.
